The Winchester Home and Garden Club is thrilled to celebrate Winchester’s own Art in Bloom at the Sanborn House Historical and Cultural Center, 15 High St., Winchester, on Thursday, April 4.

During this event, the talents of local artists and fresh floral interpretations of their art will be on display for everyone's enjoyment. The event is modeled after a similar event by the same name at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.

The WHGC is looking for local Artists to provide inspirational pieces and Designers to create a floral interpretation of the artists’ pieces. Artists should submit an image of their art by March 15 for consideration.  Designers will then use fresh flowers to create interpretations of those pieces.

The deadline to volunteer to participate is March 15. Please email Dot Butler at butlermaild@gmail.com to indicate whether you wish to submit an art item and what type, or if you wish to design a floral interpretation.

Space is limited and will be available on a first-come basis.
