Winchester deadlines for voting in the Sept. 3 primary election

The following information was provided by the Town Clerk’s office:

The State Primary is on Tuesday, Sept. 3, with polls open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Early Voting for the Sept. 3 State Primary will be held in the Winchester Room, 1st floor, Town Hall. The schedule for Early Voting is as follows:

• Saturday, Aug. 24: 9 a.m.-3 p.m.       

• Monday Aug. 26: 8 a.m.-7 p.m.       

• Tuesday-Thursday, Aug. 27-29: 8 a.m.-4 p.m.        

• Friday, Aug. 30: 8 a.m.-12 noon    

Deadline to Register to Vote for those currently NOT registered is Saturday, Aug. 24 at 11:50 p.m. online at https://www.sec.state.ma.us/OVR/

Deadline to apply for a VOTE BY MAIL ballot for State Primary is Monday, Aug. 26 at 5 p.m.

Deadline to apply for an Absentee Ballot is 12 noon on Friday, Aug. 30 at the Town Clerk’s Office – this is for voters who are out of town or disabled.
