On Monday, Oct. 21, Swim Winchester invites you to join us at Playa Bowls Winchester, 600 Main St., from 5-9 p.m.

When you mention “Swim Winchester” at the register, 10% of in-store sales will benefit efforts to build a year-round, indoor pool accessible to all.

Swim Winchester organizers will be there to answer any questions and want to hear from you why YOU swim.

Swim Winchester is a volunteer nonprofit organization created to design, build, and maintain an all-season community swimming pool in partnership with the Town of Winchester.

Organizers are grateful to Playa Bowls for hosting this event and providing a venue to engage with the public and honor the sport that unites us all. A free swimming workout is currently available to those who capture the QR code from the poster on the window at Playa Bowls and download the MySwimPro app.

The Oct. 21 celebration is ahead of World Swim Day (Oct. 26) which was founded by MySwimPro, a virtual swimming community, in 2018 to empower people around the world to get active in the water. This fun virtual event occurs on the fourth Saturday of every October.

MySwimPro raises money for learn-to-swim organizations and is committed to helping people around the world learn to swim, feel more confident in the water, and reach their goals.
