‘Standing Up for Others’ performance to be held Jan. 26 for MLK Day

The following was submitted by the Network for Social Justice:

In honor of MLK Day in 2025, please join the Network for Social Justice for a True Story Theater performance and workshop on the theme of “Standing Up for Others.”

The performance will take place on Sunday, Jan. 26, from 3-5 p.m., at the Griffin Museum of Photography, 67 Shore Road, and the follow-up workshop is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 6, from 6-8 p.m., also at the Griffin.

It is recommended, but not required, to attend both events to get the most out of the experience. The programs are recommended for those 13+ years old.

If you haven’t experienced True Story Theater before, you can learn more on their website about True Story Theater and about how a show works.

These free programs are co-sponsored by the Network for Social Justice, Winchester ABC, the Winchester Public Library, and the Griffin Museum of Photography, with funding from En Ka Society and the First Congregational Church.
