Get ready to be transported to the heart of the Serengeti as The Winchester Cooperative Theatre proudly presents its spring 2025 production of “Disney’s The Lion King Jr.!”

This unforgettable theatrical experience is packed with breathtaking music, dazzling performances, and the unstoppable energy of young talent bringing a beloved classic to life.

Join WCT as it follows Simba’s incredible journey from a playful cub to the rightful king of Pride Rock. With a story full of heart, adventure, and self-discovery, this production is perfect for audiences of all ages!

Performances will take place at McCall Middle School, 458 Main St., Winchester, on:

• Friday, March 28 at 7:30 p.m.

• Saturday, March 29 at 2 p.m.

• Sunday, March 30 at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Based on Disney’s iconic animated film, “The Lion King Jr.” brings the African savanna to life with vibrant costumes, dynamic choreography, and the powerful anthems that have captured hearts for generations.

From the electrifying opening notes of “Circle of Life” to the carefree fun of “Hakuna Matata” and the heartfelt magic of “Can You Feel the Love Tonight,” this production is a feast for the senses.

This pint-sized Broadway experience is performed by a talented cast of students, who will take you on an emotional and exhilarating ride through the Pride Lands. With a story about bravery, friendship, and finding your place in the world, “The Lion King Jr.” is a roaring celebration of love, legacy, and leadership!
