June is PRIDE Month, and Winchester is once again showing its commitment to inclusion, celebration, and the LGBTQ+ community.
The town’s PRIDE Proclamation and Human Rights Statement, both available on the Town of Winchester’s website, reaffirm the town’s support for equality and dignity for all residents, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
This year, Winchester is celebrating PRIDE through a series of vibrant and inclusive events and happenings.

Mark your calendars for Winchester’s 5th annual PRIDEfest, a celebration of LGBTQ+ identities through music, community tables, art, and joy. The event is especially by and for students, and welcomes attendees of all ages.
PRIDEfest was initiated by a middle school student and has been stewarded since by the Network for Social Justice.
• Oct. 4: Party with PRIDE
The 3rd annual PRIDE Party, an adults-only event that is also a fundraiser for the Network for Social Justice, has been postponed to Oct. 4 to coincide with National Coming Out Day, reinforcing the idea that celebrating LGBTQ+ lives should extend beyond a single month.
