The Lieutenant Governor of Massachusetts  Kim Driscoll attended Saturday’s Clambake fundraiser to support Boston’s ONLY public school for the performing arts, Boston Arts Academy along with Mattapan tap dancing SUPERSTAR “Lady Di” Dianne Walker.

Hosted by Winchester resident Pamela D.A. Reeve, BAAF board director and co-chair of Honors 2025, the 5th Annual HONORS Clambake is part of an exclusive prelude series of events that bring together civic leaders, philanthropic champions, and art and culture advocates in support of the students of Boston Arts Academy and in anticipation of HONORS 2025—Boston Arts Academy Foundation’s largest and most vital signature fundraiser coming up on Oct. 23, 2025 at MGM Fenway.

The summer evening featured a traditional New England clambake, refreshing beverages, and unforgettable live entertainment by alumni band Grupo Cultura and rising BAA sophomore tap sensation Missouri Antunes. Guests enjoyed a special Cocktails & Conversation with 2025 Dance Honoree Dianne Walker and BAA Dance Chair William McLaughlin.

The evening was highlighted by the presence of three of the 2025 Honors Honorees—in addition to Dianne Walker (Dance), David Josef (Fashion), and Grace Lee (Civic Leadership) also attended. There were inspiring remarks from Driscoll. Rep. Michael Day, former Rep. Royal Bolling Jr., and Latino community leader and producer of ¡Con Salsa! WBUR 90.9 FM, José Massó all joined the festivities.
