On Sunday, Oct. 5 at 4 p.m., join the Winchester Community Music School, 407 Highland Ave., for “Reflections & Influences,” a collaborative solo piano concert featuring Dr. Jeong Yun Yang with guest artist Dr. Minyoung Rho.

As pianists from South Korea, Rho and Yang have found in the United States a vibrant environment where different styles, ideas, and histories coexist. In this diverse setting, they have seen music spark curiosity, mutual respect, and a sense of belonging.

The works in this program — by Amy Beach, Mel Bonis, Clifton Callender, and Sergei Rachmaninoff — were each shaped by a similar spirit of musical interaction and communication. A post-concert conversation will reflect on how such interactions enrich our cultural lives.

Free admission — all are welcome. A suggested $20 donation supports WCMS concerts and performers. Presented live in Nichols Performance Hall at WCMS and also streamed live on WCMS YouTube and Facebook channels.
