The following was submitted by the Winchester Community Music School:

Join Winchester Community Music School on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 3 p.m. for an afternoon of spontaneous, relaxed bluegrass playing at 407 Highland Ave., Winchester.

The event is open to all ages; participants should be able to play simple chords in time. You’ll get an introduction to the world of bluegrass jamming and learn about the kinds of songs you’ll encounter in your local jam scene.

Limited to 12 participants, advance registration required. Acoustic only.

Free admission.

The event is hosted by Aiden Schnell, Guitar & Contemporary Music Department Chair.
