Chestnut Grove Design Group, a full-service interior design and landscape architecture studio specializing in traditional and historic homes, proudly celebrated its grand opening on April 17 with an intimate and highly curated event that brought together clients, collaborators, and members of the local design and building community.

The event was designed to reflect the firm’s philosophy: that great design lives in the details. Guests were welcomed into the newly unveiled studio space, where layered materials, timeless finishes, and tailored landscaping imagery created an immersive representation of the company’s aesthetic and capabilities.
Throughout the evening, attendees experienced a series of intentional moments — from thoughtfully styled vignettes to seasonal floral installations and locally sourced refreshments. Catering was provided by the beloved in-town French shop, Nouvelle Maison, adding a refined and authentic culinary element that complemented the event’s overall sense of place and craftsmanship.

“We wanted the evening to feel like a true extension of our work,” said Christina Wikman, founder of Chestnut Grove Design Group. “Every detail was considered to reflect how we design for our clients — creating spaces that feel both elevated and deeply personal.”
The grand opening marks an exciting milestone for the company as it continues to expand its portfolio across New England and beyond. Known for its refined yet livable approach, the firm collaborates closely with homeowners, architects, and builders to build, restore and reimagine properties with a deep respect for their architectural integrity.
