For the first time, the Winchester Artists Network will be exhibiting on Town Day at Town Hall in the Winchester Room, located off the main entrance next to the Town Clerk’s Office. The exhibit, featuring over 20 pieces from many of Winchester’s most talented artists, will kick off on Town Day, June 6, and stay up through June 11.

The Winchester Artists Network (WAN) traditionally exhibits at the Winchester Library in May of each year, however, with the ongoing construction at the library that was not possible this spring. Fortunately, the artists have this unique opportunity to showcase their works in Town Hall on one of the most popular days of the year downtown.

“We are so grateful to the Town Manager and Town Clerk for making this happen. We are excited to utilize the beautiful Winchester Room and share the talents of WAN members with all of Winchester,” said Trish Gannon, member of WAN and the Winchester Cultural Council.

Winchester Artists Network was founded in 1999 to establish a forum for local artists in our community. As an organization, and with the support of the Winchester Cultural Council, it promotes the increased presence of art in the Winchester, Mass. community through exhibitions, education and excellence in the visual arts.

Establishing connections among artists, educators, businesses, and community services remains its main goal.
