Winchester to hold Memorial Day parade, exercises on May 25

The following was submitted by the Town of Winchester:

On Monday, May 25, the VFW Post 3719 will host the annual Memorial Day Parade and Civic Exercises, with the parade stepping off at 9:15 a.m. from Laraway Road.

The parade marshal will be Gregory Quill.

Anyone marching in the parade is asked to arrive by 9 a.m. at Laraway Road.

The parade route is as follows: Down Laraway Road, around Quill Rotary to Church Street, left on Waterfield, left on Mystic Valley Parkway to place a wreath at WWI Memorial before continuing on Main Street and a right on Mt Vernon Street to Edward F. O’Connell Veterans Memorial.
