The following was submitted by the Winchester Recreation Department:

It’s summer in Winchester and that means Concerts on the Common! The festivities are held every Wednesday, beginning at 6:30 p.m. on the town common.

The following are this year’s scheduled musical acts:

• July 8: Nursery Groove, interactive nursery grooves

• July 15: Cool Runnings, reggae

• July 22: Surfhenge, surf rock

• July 29: Perfect Crime, best of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s

• Aug. 5: Kier Byrnes and The Kettle Burners, Americana

• Aug. 12: Blues Dogs, Blues band
