Dear friends,
Early voting is now underway for the Massachusetts primary election that will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 1. I hope you will join me in voting in the Democratic primary for Kate Lipper-Garabedian for the Fifth Middlesex State Senate seat (the district that I currently represent).
It has been an incredible privilege to serve our communities in the state Senate since 2014, and I want to ensure that our district and state continue to benefit from strong, effective, and progressive leadership. That is why I’m excited to support Rep. Kate Lipper-Garabedian to succeed me!
I have worked closely with Kate since she was first elected to the House of Representatives. In this time, I have seen firsthand how dedicated she is to serving her constituents, how hard she works, how thoughtfully she approaches complex issues, and how skillful she is in building relationships and working collaboratively to get the job done. These are the qualities that make an effective state legislator, and they are qualities Kate has demonstrated consistently throughout her time in office.
Kate has my strong support in this race, and I hope you will join me in voting for her in the Democratic primary on Sept. 1.
