On Tuesday, Nov. 10, join Judge Dennis Curran, Ret. at the Jenks Center, 109 Skillings Road, for “Hollywood & The Courtroom: Part 2,” from 6-7 p.m.
Using famous Hollywood movie clips, we will focus on the drama of cross-examining a witness at trial (both a “hard” and a “soft” cross) and closing arguments.
We will feature scenes from “My Cousin Vinny,” Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington in “Philadelphia,” Jack Nicholson and Tom Cruise in “A Few Good Men,” Paul Newman in “The Verdict,” Jodie Foster’s “The Accused” and finally, Gregory Peck in “To Kill a Mockingbird.”
