What experiences and perspectives would you contribute to Town Meeting?
Winchester resident for 33 years
Town Meeting member for 20 years
Wright-Locke Farm Land Trust Board of Directors
Member Winchester League of Women Voters
Represented the Historical Commission on the Community Preservation Act Committee

What are two or three issues facing Winchester that you think are most important and what are your positions on them?
Winchester is in need of more affordable housing units for residents of all ages. Currently, only 4% of housing stock is affordable. The State requirement is 10%. We need to do better! My position is new development in Town adhere to affordable housing regulations.

Winchester has suffered a significant decline in its tree canopy. My position is the Town should invest in restoring and expanding Winchester's green spaces.

What is a special challenge in your precinct that might not be faced in other precincts?
The volume and speed of cut-through vehicular traffic is a challenge that is not unique to Precinct 5. Elementary school students in Precincts 5 and 6 attend either Vinson Owen or Ambrose School. These are very young children, and many walk to and from school.

Why should voters elect you to represent them?
When I'm re-elected, I will continue to advocate for investing in a high-performing school system, equity and inclusion for all residents, responsible mixed-use development and affordable housing, conserving the natural environment of the town's parks and recreation "green spaces", protection of the historical character of the Town Center, and support local businesses.
