What experiences and perspectives would you contribute to Town Meeting?
On a personal level, I have been a Winchester resident since moving her in 2005, first renting an apartment prior to owning my own home in 2009. My now adult son went through the public school system starting with Vinson-Owen, McCall and the High School, playing various sports and deeply involved with the Arts Programs. Now that he is independent, I have more time to devote to the community, and I am looking to give back to this wonderful community.
On a professional level, I also opened my own law practice downtown operating since 2008 and have grown to employee over ten people. This gives me a perspective of being a small business owner operating in Town, understanding how finances deeply impact the day to day of payroll, health care benefits and taxes. I specialize in Landlord Tenant Law, and therefore have a 24 year history of working with affordable housing programs, through the turbulence of the financial crisis, COVID closures and limitations, and the everyday market fluctuations in housing. Digesting and analyzing the details of legislation is something in my everyday practice which can easily translate to the Warrants presented at Town Meeting.

What are two or three issues facing Winchester that you think are most important and what are your positions on them? (did not answer)

What is a special challenge in your precinct that might not be faced in other precincts? (did not answer)

Why should voters elect you to represent them?
I am hopeful to truly represent community members, listening to their specific concerns and advocating for their positions at Town Meeting.
