What experiences and perspectives would you contribute to Town Meeting?
I have lived in Winchester for 17 years and raised my two children who are now in 10th and 12th grade at the high school. I was originally inspired to run with the risk of development of Wright-Locke Farm. I've been a Town Meeting Member since 2017 and have served even longer on the board of the Winchester Farmers’ Market. I also started my neighborhood block party because I believe strong community connections matter. I care deeply about thoughtful, informed participation and contributing constructively locally. I recently graduated from Tufts with a PhD in environmental health, therefore I bring professional expertise in sustainability, public health, and evidence-based decision-making.
In my free time, you can find me hiking in the White Mountains, dancing to live music, enjoying hockey with my daughter, or reading books with my son- ask me about anything!

What are two or three issues facing Winchester that you think are most important and what are your positions on them?
Development and Affordable Housing I really like the North Main Street Development Plan and look forward to see what happens. I hope to see more similar thoughtful designs in the future. We have to be proactive and encourage affordable housing to avoid unfriendly 40b projects.

What is a special challenge in your precinct that might not be faced in other precincts?
Precinct 3 is unique because it includes the downtown business district and the Winchester Commuter Rail Station.

Why should voters elect you to represent them?
I show up. My strength is I listen, and I respond when constituents reach out. I have an almost perfect attendance record at Town Meeting, and I’m open-minded to the different perspectives on each issue. My focus is on representing my neighbors thoughtfully.
