What experiences and perspectives would you contribute to Town Meeting?
I have over 25 years in Town Government, including chairing the FinCom, Envision Winchester, and the Personnel Board. I have a strong understanding of how the Town’s finances work, especially in times of higher inflation.

What are two or three issues facing Winchester that you think are most important and what are your positions on them?
I think the Town needs to complete the upgrading of all of the schools. The Town needs to continue putting up solar panels and other methods to decarbonize while reducing the stranglehold the energy market has on the Town’s finances. We need to make putting in added housing easier.

What is a special challenge in your precinct that might not be faced in other precincts?
Since the completion of the updated Ambrose, and the purchase of Wright-Locke farm, I can’t think of a uniquely Precinct 5 issue. The Town faces perennial funding issues, and the effect that they have on the ability live in the town. These issues affect different parts of the town differently, but they require everyone to solve them.

Why should voters elect you to represent them?
I have always been able to work with everyone. I bring an open mind and deep institutional knowledge to my decision making process.
