What experiences and perspectives would you contribute to Town Meeting?
I have served as a Town Meeting Member since 2017 and currently serve on the Committee on Names. I am active in local issues including schools, affordable housing, and building inclusive communities. My volunteer work with Network for Social Justice around LGBTQ+ inclusion and my role on the Board of Winchester Friends of Music give me a strong perspective on how town decisions affect families, students, and community culture. I bring a commitment to community outreach, listening carefully to neighbors, and representing the concerns and priorities of Precinct 8.

What are two or three issues facing Winchester that you think are most important and what are your positions on them?
Sustainable funding:
I support stable, long-term funding for schools and essential town services through responsible budgeting that protects educational quality and the cultural and civic resources that define Winchester.

Welcoming and inclusive community:
I support policies that promote diversity, equity, and belonging so all residents feel safe, valued, and represented.

Housing and development:
I support smart, well-planned growth that meets housing needs while respecting neighborhood planning, infrastructure, and the environment.

What is a special challenge in your precinct that might not be faced in other precincts?
Precinct 8 faces development pressure, particularly north of Main Street. Residents are concerned about how new development affects traffic, infrastructure, safety, and the historic planning of our neighborhoods. Balancing smart growth with preservation will be a challenge for our precinct.

Why should voters elect you to represent them?
I bring experience, independence, and a strong connection to the community. I listen to residents, communicate openly, and take their concerns seriously. I am committed to thoughtful decision-making and to representing Precinct 8 with fairness and integrity. My goal is to ensure that Winchester grows in a way that is sustainable, inclusive, and respectful of our shared values.
