The League of Women Voters Names Wei Han 2023 Civic Leadership Award Recipient

July 23, 2023.  The League of Women Voters has announced that Amberwood Drive resident Wei Han will be the recipient of the 2023 Civic Leadership Award. The ceremony will take place on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at the Jenks Center from 6:30-8:30.

Wei Han has been organizing the Parent Association at the Winchester School of Chinese Culture, he co-founded the Chinese American Network of Winchester and was the first Chinese-American elected as a town meeting member in Winchester.

He is also the President of the Board of the Network for Social Justice. In addition, he serves on the boards of the Council on Aging, WinCAM and the Winchester Community Music School.

The League of Women Voters Winchester Steering Committee says of Wei Han that “He is wonderfully collaborative, civic minded and a generous leader who has given his time to many organizations in Winchester.”
