New COVID vaccinations available

With the recent Federal Drug Administration approval of the new monovalent vaccine, residents will be able to schedule getting vaccinated at local pharmacies.  The Winchester CVS, as well as nearby CVS stores, are already giving the shots, and the Walgreens on Cambridge Street in Woburn is starting to schedule them as of Monday, Sept. 18, 2023.  And when Winchester News asked Winchester Health Director Jennifer Murphy if the Health Department would be offering the new vaccine, she said, “Yes, stay tuned for more information!”
