Workshop asks if the time is right for a medical alert service

The following was submitted by the Jenks Center:

On Tuesday, June 11, the Solo Ager Network will present “Is It Time for a Medical Alert Service?” from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Jenks Center, 109 Skillings Road.

When you experience a fall, medical issue, or other emergency, every second counts. Knowing assistance is available 24 hours a day can provide peace of mind, especially for people who live alone. 

Susan DeRosa from Winchester Hospital’s Medical Alert Program will review medical alert services that help you remain safe at home.
