Prison Book Program (PBP) is proud to announce the addition of three distinguished individuals to its Board of Directors, including Winchester resident Judy Doctoroff.

These new members bring a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to PBP’s mission of supporting people in prison by providing free, high-quality reading material that matches their specific needs and interests.

Doctoroff is a former television producer with over 30 years of broadcast experience, notably working with Bill Moyers on public television. In 2015, she founded Public Square Media, a non-profit production company focusing on critical issues for democracy, including mass incarceration.

Doctoroff was formerly the managing director of Covering Climate Now, an organization dedicated to improving global climate reporting. She and her husband, Jim, have been dedicated PBP volunteers since moving to Boston in 2019.

They have three grown children living outside the area.
