Winchester residents turned out Friday night for the annual tree lighting celebration put on by the Chamber of Commerce.
It was a night featuring the All School Chorus with sing-a-longs for attendees.
The evening also included hot chocolate and cookies from Sogno and the Winchester Co-operative Bank, the lead sponsor of the annual week-long Holiday Stroll.
Also at the tree lighting was special guest Olaf, who took lots of photos at the photo booth.
Residents also took in the lit up streets around the town common and all along the downtown area.
And of course, residents all checked out the town common, readying for the tree lighting.
Check out our video the trees lit on the common — in case you missed it!

Cash loves to cuddle, steal shoes, and run around the yard with his moms’ outdoor pillows.

Are you sick? Seems like everyone you know is down with something — COVID-19, influenza, respiratory syncytial (RSV), norovirus — but only one of those, say public health experts, is actually outside of its normal parameters.
“Norovirus has been higher year-over-year,” said Dr. Shira Doron, chief infection control officer at Tufts Medicine.
