SV Design is excited to announce that Kathleen O’Connor has been promoted to associate principal. In this leadership role she will oversee the firm’s interior decorating business across the Beverly, Chatham, and Winchester offices.

O’Connor will provide input on strategy, operations, and business development, unifying and strengthening the interior decorating team while positioning the practice for continued growth.

“We believe the interior design talent at SV Design will benefit from having a dedicated resource who can lead the growth of the interior décor business,” says Principal Tobin Shulman. “This new leadership role reflects our commitment to elevating our design offerings and fostering seamless collaboration between our architecture and interiors teams.”

O’Connor brings her strategic mindset to the role, demonstrating a strong sense of vision, an ability to build relationships, and a remarkable talent for listening to clients. Her multi-faceted career began in marketing, business development, and client services within the financial industry and evolved into strategic consulting for large financial companies and advising boards on corporate restructuring.

O’Connor shifted to public relations consulting in the television business where she managed public appearances, engagements, and contracts for hosts of a well-known home improvement show.

In addition, O’Connor has launched two businesses, and her entrepreneurial spirit led her to strategic business consulting, helping new small business owners bring their visions to reality.

Since joining SV Design, O’Connor has played a pivotal role in advancing the firm’s brand through marketing, public relations, and strategic business development.

Her dedication to excellence has been a key driver in the firm’s growth and success.

“It has been inspiring to witness the growth, change, and exceptional talent at SV Design,” says O’Connor. “I am honored to lead the interior decorating team and look forward to helping shape the future of this thriving practice.”

Under O’Connor’s leadership, SV Design is poised to continue delivering outstanding interior decorating solutions that seamlessly blend collaboration, creativity, and client-centered design.
