In an inspiring display of community spirit, the Winchester High School Girls Basketball Team recently visited the office of Connor’s Kindness Project in Woburn, where they assembled 190 Kindness Kits.

These kits, filled with educational and comfort items, will be delivered to local shelters and hospitals over the next two weeks to support those in need.

The team captains prioritized their first stop to Winchester Hospital, a fitting choice given the geographic connection between the local organizations involved.

They were joined by Winchester Co-operative Bank Community Relations and Marketing Manager Julie Hammond, who helped bring this meaningful collaboration to life.

Executive Director of Connor’s Kindness Project and former Winchester Hospital employee Sharon Marrama shared her gratitude for the effort, saying, “To see our kindness spread through community collaborations is something the organization wholeheartedly welcomes. It's truly inspiring to witness young people giving back in such a powerful way.”

The project has touched hearts across the community, and the hope is to inspire other local businesses and teams to get involved. If your organization would like to participate, contact Marrama at sharon@connorskindnessproject.org for more information.

Together, this collective effort demonstrates the power of kindness in building stronger communities, and the organizations involved are excited to continue fostering this spirit of goodwill.

Connor’s Kindness Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to spreading kindness and compassion through various community initiatives. The organization partners with local groups to support individuals in need and enrich the lives of those facing difficult circumstances.
