League of Women Voters holds candidate forums for the 2025 Winchester town election

The following was submitted by the League of Women Voters of Winchester:

The League of Women Voters of Winchester is sponsoring two candidate forums before the March 22, 2025 town election. Election Day voting will be at Winchester High School for all precincts.

The debates will be preceded by informal Meet the Town Meeting Candidates opportunities.

Debates will be on the following dates and times:

• Wednesday, March 5

6:30-7 p.m.: Meet Town Meeting candidates for all precincts

7-8 p.m.: Select Board debate (2 seats): Anthea Brady (incumbent), Paras Bhayani, Dorothy Simboli, and Richard Welch, Jr.

• Thursday, March 6

6:30-7 p.m.: Meet Town Meeting candidates for all precincts

7-8 p.m.: School Committee debate (2 seats): Karen Maruyama Bolognese (incumbent), Stefanie Mnayarji, and Christian Nixon.

Debates will be moderated by an LWV moderator from a League chapter outside of Winchester. This event will be live-streamed by WinCam and available afterwards on www.wincam.org.

The Winchester League will provide online Voter Guides with profiles of candidates for all offices, including Town Meeting. The guides will be available in early March on the League’s website.

Deadline to Register to Vote is March 12 at 4 p.m.

Deadline to Apply to Vote by Mail is March 17 at 5 p.m.

Vote Early at Town Hall:

March 15, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

March 17-20, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

March 21, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
