This year’s exhibit includes the work of 36 Winchester Public School K-12 students, 4 Studio on the Common Students, 1 student from Winchester School of Chinese Culture, plus four local professionals – Jennifer Booher, Ric Pontes, Vicki Stromee, and Connor Thompson – and archival Arthur Griffin photos.

The artwork includes works in different media from photography to painting and drawing to ceramics.

AWI is so grateful for Winchester Foundation for Educational Excellence (WFEE) as well as its business and local sponsors who make this exhibit possible each year.

Sidewalk art can be found all along Winchester’s sidewalks in and around the common, down Main Street, Mt Vernon Street, and Mystic Valley Parkway. The exhibit will be on display until mid-September. For a map and a directory, follow this link on Winchester Cultural District’s website.

The Sidewalk Art ushers in the summer exhibit season in the Winchester Cultural District. Over the next couple weeks, the Griffin Museum will install its Vision(ary) and Photosynthesis exhibits.

• June 21 at 3 p.m., join us for a Saturday afternoon of Shakespeare

Last summer, World’s A Stage Players devised and performed a new revue of famous, and not so famous, Shakespeare scenes and monologues, loosely organized around the “eras” of his life and career.

After receiving a wonderful reception to the program, this summer they are truly taking the show out on a one weekend tour! World’s A Stage Players are associated with The Concord Players who are celebrating their 104th season this year.

The Griffin Terraces Series is sponsored in part by Winchester Cultural Council.
