Local families and fitness enthusiasts have a convenient new destination for active fun. Conquer Ninja Gyms, a national brand in “ninja warrior” obstacle training, has opened its first East Coast location at 10 Gill St. in Woburn.

Inspired by the hit TV series “American Ninja Warrior,” Conquer Ninja Gyms offer dynamic, family-friendly training for adults and kids aged five and older. Adventure seekers can test their skills during unattended open gym time or with trainers through summer camp, structured courses, and competitive team opportunities.

Since its founding in 2015, Conquer Ninja has grown to include 13 locations across Arizona, Minnesota, North Dakota, and Texas. The spacious Woburn site is the franchise’s first Massachusetts location.

“Conquer Ninja Woburn is a fantastic new amenity for families in the area,” said Al Diamond, business development director at Cummings Properties. “It’s a fun, healthy way for kids to build confidence and stay active year-round.”

Diamond worked directly with franchise owner Chris McSweeney on the lease. The deal included significant renovations, completed by Cummings’ in-house design and construction teams.

“Chris was immediately drawn to the space at Gill Street, which has the rare height and structure needed for a true ninja course,” said Diamond. “The Cummings team then moved quickly to reconfigure the interior — raising ceilings and ductwork even further — to create the ideal setting for climbing walls and high-intensity obstacles.”

Conquer Ninja Woburn opens this month, offering open gym times, special event bookings, and summer camp sessions to both members and non-members.

Structured classes and team opportunities are reserved for gym members.

Cummings Properties’ 11 million square feet of commercial real estate accommodates labs and clean rooms, offices, health care facilities, restaurants, retail storefronts, warehouses, satellite offices, executive suites, and more.

With a portfolio of this size and variety, the firm can meet virtually any commercial real estate need. Its in-house experts in design, construction, and property management offer “one-stop shopping” for the business community.

Conquer Ninja Gyms aim to provide individuals and families with a space to overcome obstacles while getting fit and having fun. Each facility is equipped with full-size and smaller-scale obstacles, suitable for kids and adults, and trainers with backgrounds in obstacle training (including several who have competed on the “American Ninja Warrior” show).
