Winchester Cooperative Theatre announces fall 2025 show: Disney’s ‘High School Musical Jr.’

The Wildcats are taking over Winchester! The Winchester Cooperative Theatre is thrilled to bring Disney’s “High School Musical Jr.” to the stage this fall.

Based on the smash hit Disney Channel original movie, this high-energy production follows East High’s beloved Wildcats as they navigate friendships, first crushes, and the excitement of a new school year.

At East High, the jocks, brainiacs, thespians, and skater dudes all face the everyday challenges of adolescence - from fitting in to discovering their voices. When basketball star Troy Bolton and new student prodigy Gabriella Montez surprise everyone by auditioning for the school musical, they upend the status quo and inspire their classmates to break free from expectations and follow their hearts.

Performances will take place at McCall Middle School, 458 Main St., on the following dates and times:

●       Friday, Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m.

●       Saturday, Nov. 22 at 7:30 p.m.

●       Sunday, Nov. 23 at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
