—Why should I vote for you?
I have lived in Winchester for the past 12 years and feel so lucky to live and raise my family here. What I love most about Winchester is not just its vibrant town center and outstanding school district, but the people who make this community so special. As a member of Town Meeting for Precinct 5, I will bring a commitment to listening to and representing my neighbors, ensuring that the decisions made at Town Meeting reflect our collective priorities. My goal is to help Winchester
continue to thrive as one of the best places to live in Massachusetts. I ask for your vote because I am dedicated to our community and advocating for what matters most to our residents.

Town Meeting candidate-specific questions
— What specific methods will you use to gather and represent your constituents' perspectives on issues that come before Town Meeting?

Firstly, I am informed on current issues impacting Winchester through our town news sources, including the Winchester news, our town website and meetings, and our resident's page. Additionally, I stay up to date on issues ongoing in neighboring towns that may have relevance to issues impacting Winchester. I actively engage with constituents in Precinct 5 through Parents Association meetings, volunteering through the schools, connecting with residents at my kid's sporting and dance events, visiting businesses in our town center, meeting through our Neighborhood Association, or simply walking my dog to hear their issues, concerns and points of view. I will bring these perspectives to Town Meeting to ensure that the voices of the residents are heard and considered in the decision-making process.
—Transparency and communication are vital in representative government. What steps will you take to keep your constituents informed about Town Meeting decisions and to explain your voting rationale?
While listening and engaging with the residents to understand their perspectives is an important role for a town meeting member, it's only half of the responsibility of being a Town Meeting member. Equally important is sharing back with residents on Town Meeting decisions and voting rationale. I will continue to inform my neighbors and Winchester residents about Town Meeting decisions and rationale.
My approach is to keep an ongoing conversation to hear resident's reactions to votes and decisions that can then inform future votes and decisions.
—Town Meeting decides three major things: It sets the salaries for the elected officials, votes to appropriate money to run the town, and votes on the town's local statutes, which are called by-laws. How do you plan to evaluate and make decisions on budgetary allocations to ensure fiscal responsibility while meeting the town's needs?
I have experience working within budgets both in my professional life and in my home life. While we want to ensure that Winchester has all of the advantages to thrive as a community, we cannot put undue burden on our taxpayers. In order to ensure fiscal responsibility while meeting the town needs it will be important to prioritize those items that bring the most value to the community. And in order to understand what is priority for our Precinct 5 and community I pledge to engage and listen to my Winchester neighbors.
