Due to the weekend snowstorm, Indivisible Winchester has announced the rescheduling of its Truth Brigade training session, originally scheduled for Monday, Jan. 26 to Tuesday, Feb. 10, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at the Winchester Public Library, 80 Washington St., Large Meeting Room.
The organization kindly asks registered participants to update their RSVP through Mobilize if they are unable to attend on the new date. Your response will assist in ensuring an accurate headcount and smooth event planning. Those who are now available and wish to join can simply reply via email at IndivisibleWin@gmail.com to register their attendance.

The workshop will feature Vanessa Linsey, a mediator and mindfulness expert with over 16 years of experience in wellness and conflict resolution.
Linsey is a professional mediator and mindfulness practitioner committed to promoting understanding and peaceful communication. Her expertise spans over a decade in facilitating conflict resolution and fostering mutual respect.
During this 90-minute session, Linsey will share practical communication strategies aimed at navigating today’s polarized climate. Participants will learn to recognize disinformation, determine when to engage or disengage, and employ truthful, firm, yet friendly conversation tactics. The session will include role-playing exercises, de-escalation techniques, methods for finding common ground, and social media comment drafting — all designed to foster constructive dialogue and effective activism.
Indivisible Winchester (IndivisibleWIN) is a grassroots organization dedicated to defending democracy, protecting civil rights, and mobilizing community action. As part of the national Indivisible network, the group unites local residents in resistance to authoritarianism and advocates for an inclusive, just society.
