The following was submitted by the League of Women Voters of Winchester:

The League of Women Voters of Winchester is sponsoring two candidate forums on Feb. 26 and March 5 at the Jenks Center, 109 Skillings Road, in the Cummings Room before the March 21, 2026 town election.

Voting for the town election will take place at Winchester High School for all precincts, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.  Early voting and mail-in voting, etc. info from Winchester Town Clerk at www.winchester.us

Both debates will be preceded by Meet the Town Meeting Candidates opportunities:

Thursday, Feb. 26, 2026

6:30-7 p.m.: Meet Town Meeting candidates for all precincts

7-8 p.m.: Planning Board debate (2 seats): Amy Beliveau, Keri Layton, Nicholas Rossettos

Thursday, March 5, 2026

6:15-6:45 p.m.: Meet Town Meeting candidates for all precincts

6:45-8:15 p.m.: School Committee debate (1 seat): John Bellaire and Heather von Mering and Select Board debate (1seat): Shamus Brady and Michelle Prior

The debates will be moderated by an LWV moderator from a League chapter outside of Winchester.

This event will be live-streamed by WinCAM and available on demand afterwards on www.wincam.org

The League is collaborating with Winchester News to provide online Voter Guides with profiles of candidates for all offices, including Town Meeting. The guides will be available in early March on the Winchester News online at winchesternews.org/ and the League’s website www.lwvwinchester.org.
