To mark Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day in 2026, the Network for Social Justice is collaborating with club leaders from Winchester High School and members of the Community Health team from La Colaborativa in Chelsea and offering an interactive, educational interactive event for the community.

Girls Leading Change: Promoting Health & Empowerment will take place on Sunday, March 8, from 3-4:30 p.m. at the Winchester Public Library, 80 Washington St.

The event will feature several clubs from Winchester High School, including Girl Up, Women in STEM, Girls Gotta Run and Mind & Matter.

The young women from La Colaborativa in Chelsea will share their inspiring story of bringing change to health education in their school and community.

The clubs are planning interactive games such as “Guess the Statistic?” to help raise awareness of the current status of girls and women in various arenas and locations.

There will also be a moderated panel discussion, followed by Q&A and more time to interact and engage with each other and attendees. This event is geared toward middle school and high school students, and adults.

For any questions, email office@nfsj.org or call 781-729-7100.
