On Tuesday, Sept. 22, the League of Women Voters of Winchester will host its 2026 Civic Leadership Award Ceremony at the Lynch Elementary School, 10 Brantwood Road, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
The evening will kick off at 6:30 p.m. with a tour of the Lynch followed by the its 2026 Civic Leadership Award presentation to this year’s recipient Susah McPhee.
Sus McPhee has provided tremendous service and leadership to furthering “green” sustainability improvements in Town infrastructure and beyond.
She has saved the Town of Winchester millions of dollars in operating costs, played an important role in creating Winchester’s renewal electricity program WinPower for residents, and founded the Winchester Senior Energy Grants program.
McPhee is wonderfully collaborative, determined, passionate and effective in pushing the Town of Winchester to set and meet ambitious energy conservation and climate resilience goals.
