On Tuesday, Sept. 15, the Jenks Center, 109 Skillings Road, will host “Stone Age Science,” from 6-7 p.m., with Joshua Passell.

The natural world is rich with mysteries, but not so mysterious that our ancient ancestors were unable to understand it, however primitively. How about us? Would we be able to answer a simple question about the world around us that a child might ask?

Using reason and observation available to people ancient and modern, we’ll put our minds together and find out.

After switching college majors from Astrophysics to English, Josh Passell developed Stone Age Science to stimulate both areas of his mind, the analytic and the artistic. It’s not always clear to him there's a difference.
