On Saturday, Feb. 3, Crawford Memorial UMC will hold its annual Chili Cook-Off, benefiting New England Justice For Our Neighbors, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the parish hall, 34 Dix St., Winchester.

Bring your family and friends, and your appetite! Entries include beef, pork, chicken and vegetarian chilies. And you can turn your tastings into a meal with extras, including salad, cornbread, beverages and dessert.

There is no fee to enter, though goodwill offerings will be accepted at the door, and organizers will sell  “ballots” for $1 each — tickets you can use to help us choose the winning chili(s). 

All proceeds will go to support the important work of New England Justice for Our Neighbors, who - for more than a decade - have been providing free, expert legal aid to low- and no-income immigrants, specializing in humanitarian-based cases, helping them obtain legal status here in the U.S.
