Emi Kazak loves animals and she loves baking.  She also loves combining both those loves into a way to help charities.

In December, she made pies and fancy cookies to sell on Facebook and Instagram to raise money for the Animal Rescue League of Boston and made over $300. Last March, in honor of Women’s History Month, she donated the money she made to Rosie’s Place, a Boston shelter for homeless women.

She sells her cookies in batches of six for $30 and will also take special orders for a dozen.

A Revere resident, Kazak is a familiar face in Winchester.  She used to work for Fuller Cup before it closed last year, and now you can see her at Maison Nouvelle, Ciao Bow Wow, and Recess.

The happy owner of several pets, Kazak was sad that one of her cats died in December. But she continues her work with charities and helping animals.
