Winchester Co-operative Bank (WCB) is pleased to announce the election of Steven Stewart as president.
Stewart, who currently serves as chief lending officer, will assume responsibility for the bank’s day-to-day operations while continuing to strengthen lending initiatives, foster customer relationships, and uphold WCB’s longstanding commitment to community banking.
Stewart brings more than 35 years of banking and leadership experience to his new role. A graduate of Southern New Hampshire University, he has built a distinguished career in lending and operations and remains actively involved in numerous community organizations, serving in a variety of leadership capacities.
As part of the bank’s leadership transition, Mark Kellett will continue to serve as chief executive officer as he begins a planned transition toward retirement. In his role as CEO, Kellett will remain focused on strategic leadership and guiding the Bank’s long-term vision, ensuring continuity and a seamless transition.
“Steve has been instrumental to Winchester Co-operative Bank’s growth and our commitment to serving customers and communities,” said Kellett. “His leadership, industry expertise, and strong relationships make him exceptionally well suited to serve as president.
