Local clothing boutiques Jules Children's Boutique, 560 Main St., and Jules Women’s Boutique, 3 Thompson St., in Winchester, are excited to launch their first-annual clothing drive, “Fashion It Forward,” benefiting Cradles to Crayons Greater Boston.

The campaign runs through Friday, Nov. 14, 2025.

During this period, community members are invited to bring gently loved and new children’s clothing (newborn through tween) to 560 Main St., Winchester. In return, donors who join the boutiques’ email list will receive 10% off their next purchase at either boutique location.

“At Jules, we believe in fashion with purpose,” said Patti McPartland-Reilly. “By repurposing beloved children’s styles and supporting Cradles to Crayons, we bring together sustainability, community and confidence for kids in need.”

All donated items will be collected at the 560 Main St. location, then packaged and delivered to Cradles to Crayons’ Greater Boston facility for distribution to local children.

Why this matters: According to Cradles to Crayons, many children enter the school year without adequate clothing to keep them warm or confident, which can impact self-esteem and readiness. This drive provides meaningful support while reinforcing the boutique’s mission of style, individuality and modesty through ethical action.

How the community can help:

• Drop off children’s clothes (sizes newborn to approx. age 12) at Jules Children’s Boutique between Oct. 27 and Nov. 14.

• Share a photo of your donation using hashtag #FashionItForward and tag @Jules3Winchester + @Jules560Baby on Instagram to be featured on the boutique’s story feed.

• Invite friends and local families to join the effort for even greater impact.

Located in Winchester Center, Jules Children's Boutique specializes in clothing for newborns to tweens with a focus on high quality fashion that allows for individuality and builds strong self-esteem. Jules Women’s Boutique offers contemporary women’s fashion from Junior to adult sizes.

Together, the two stores form a community-centric brand committed to sustainable style and local impact.

Cradles to Crayons Greater Boston provides essential items to children from birth through age 12 living in low-income or homeless situations. Through volunteer support and partnerships, the organization ensures that every child is ready to learn and thrive.
