About 100 current and former cancer patients and clinicians came together to “Celebrate Life” at the annual Cancer Survivor’s Event hosted by Winchester Hospital.
The yearly event, held at the Crowne Plaza in Woburn, honors those who have survived cancer while also serving as an inspiration to newly diagnosed patients and their families.

In June 2022, town officials endorsed an ecological restoration project for the Aberjona River through Davidson Park that mimics the original riverine environment. On Dec. 3, the Mystic River Watershed Association (MyRWA) and the town held a Davidson Park Stream Restoration Update meeting about the project.

The Select Board voted Dec. 22 to offer the position of town manager to Christopher Senior, following a prolonged debate over contract length and performance evaluation timelines that exposed divisions among members about the collapsed search process.
