Free series available for families with loved ones struggling with Substance Use Disorder

The following was submitted by the Winchester Health Department:

Do you have a loved one struggling with Substance Use Disorder? You are not alone!

Come to a free series offering connection, education, and hope for parents, caregivers and loved ones.

Join Barrie Brian, family peer recovery coach, on Wednesday, June 17, from 7-8 p.m., at Grace Episcopal Church, 160 High St., Medford.

During the evening:

• A young man in recovery and his mother will share their stories: his addiction and recovery and her journey as his loved one.

• Connect with others who understand.

There will be a final summer session on July 15, where there will be resources and guidance for families. More sessions will be coming in September.

No registration is required.
