Winchester Town Hall became an exhibition space this summer when the Winchester Artists Network (WAN) moved in for 10 days.
WAN traditionally exhibits at the Winchester Public Library in May of each year, but ongoing construction at the library made that impossible this
Fortunately, the artists have this unique opportunity to showcase their works in Town Hall on one of the most popular days of the year downtown.
“We are so grateful to the Town Manager and Town Clerk for making this happen. We are excited to utilize the beautiful Winchester Room and share the talents of WAN members with all of Winchester,” said Trish Gannon, member of WAN and the Winchester Cultural Council, earlier this year in a released statement.

The artwork on display included oil paintings, watercolors, acrylics, collage, pastels, photography, textile art, ceramics, and mixed media work.
Winchester Artists Network was founded in 1999 to establish a forum for local artists in the community.
As an organization, and with the support of the Winchester Cultural Council, it promotes the increased presence of art in the Winchester community through exhibitions, education and excellence in the visual arts. Establishing connections among artists, educators, businesses, and community services remains its main goal.
