This Sunday, Volunteer Ventures MA will be hosting an emergency Soup Jar-Making event at Temple Shir Tikvah in Winchester to assist our neighbors living with food insecurity in these particularly challenging times.
Volunteers are needed to create the soup jars. There will be two sessions on Sunday, Nov. 9, the first from 2:30 to 4 p.m. and the second from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
Volunteers assemble dried ingredients in a jar and shared with community families and individuals, who add boiling water to make a nourishing meal.
